Ceramic coating…What is it?
Ceramic coating creates a hard-sacrificial barrier which shields your paint from the abuse coming from the sun and other harsh elements. Unlike wax, ceramic coating has a self-cleaning ability which keeps your vehicle cleaner, longer. It also keeps your paint extremely glossy and helps prevent swirl marks.
Due to the hardness of the product and its life-span, a ceramic coating should only be applied after a paint correction with as little or no defects if possible
What is a clay bar?
A detailing clay bar is an engineered resin compound used to remove contaminants from the surface of your car’s paint, glass, fiberglass and metal. Detailing clay can be natural or synthetic, though most manufacturers utilize synthetic clays.
Detailing clay glides along the surface of your paint and grabs anything that protrudes from the surface; industrial fallout, rail dust and brake dust. The particle sticks to the clay and is therefore removed from your vehicle.
